A smiling person with curly hair and glasses rests on a railing by a scenic body of water and trees in the background.

Andie grew up in the fields and woodlands across the east coast but came to Vermont to get her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from UVM’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, and didn’t want to leave. She loves working at the intersection of agriculture, natural resources, and community to support local landowners and municipalities find the best solutions to meet their needs and those of the ecosystem. Andie has worked as a research assistant with the USDA Food Systems Research Unit and assisted in conservation programs and communications with a local land trust in Rhode Island. When not planning conservation practices with farmers or repairing ecosystems, she loves hiking, reading, and gardening.
